One extra order a month
pays for the whole thing. Everything after that is yours.

Your website can't take an order, a quote request, or even a message — there is no contact form anywhere on it. Not on the contact page, not on any of the twelve product pages. Below is what that costs, what it would cost to fix, and how fast it pays back. Use your own numbers.

What is one lost quote actually worth?

We don't know your average ticket — you do. Put your own numbers in and the model updates. The defaults below are deliberately conservative, and every figure they rest on is public and cited at the bottom of this section.

Assumes the $2,450 starting phase and its $150/month care plan. Gross profit, not net — your own overhead comes off after.

The other way to look at it

A landscaping lead costs about $85 to buy on Google. At the settings above, the site produces 4 leads a month — call it $4,080 a year of lead generation you'd otherwise be paying for. The care plan is $1,800 a year.

You are not buying a website. You are buying the cheapest lead source you will ever own, and you already own the traffic — forty years of name recognition, 106 Google reviews, and a top spot in local search. It just has nowhere to land.

Gross margin 34.8% — SiteOne Landscape Supply (NYSE: SITE), FY2025 Form 10-K; largest wholesale landscape supply distributor in North America. Up from 34.4% in FY2024.
Independent yards, 15–20% of gross revenue — TRUiC industry guide to landscape supply businesses. We default the model to 30% as a middle figure.
Landscaping cost per lead $85 — LocaliQ 2025 Home Services Search Advertising Benchmarks. EverGrow Marketing's 2025 landscaping benchmark puts it at $87.80.
Delivered load $450–$1,200 — published bulk gravel delivery pricing guides, 2025–2026; 15–20 ton loads $450–900, 25-ton loads $800–1,200.

Why it's producing nothing

Fifteen findings. These four are the ones costing you orders; the rest are listed underneath. Every one can be checked on your own site today.

01

There is no contact or quote form anywhere on the site

The only ways to reach you are a phone number and an email link. Anyone who isn't ready to phone you right that second leaves without a trace — and nights and weekends capture nothing at all.

no <form> element on contact-us.html, products.html, or any product page
02

No calculator, so every "how much do I need" is a phone call

Someone with 400 square feet to fill at two inches has to call and ask how many tons that is. Your counter staff answers that all day, and the ones who can't get through call someone else.

12 product categories on site, no quantities, no coverage tool
03

Your 106 reviews are nowhere on your own website

4.0 stars across roughly 106 Google reviews, plus about 152 more on Birdeye. None of them appear on pebblejunction.com. The best sales asset you own is sitting idle.

Google Business Profile & Birdeye vs. live site content
04

Two dead scripts load on every page, and the domain has no security headers

Both googlecode.com scripts return 404 — that service shut down in 2016 — and they're requested over insecure HTTP. Meanwhile the domain sends no HSTS, no CSP, no clickjacking protection. Those header fixes are free.

The plan · staged on purpose

Start small. Only keep going if it works.

We're not asking you to write one big check for a website. Step one is the cheap part that makes the money — if it doesn't produce, you stop there and you're out $2,450 with a faster, safer site to show for it.

Step one · start here

Fix & Capture

We leave your current site standing and bolt on the parts that earn: a quote form on every product page and a working tonnage calculator. Then we fix what's broken underneath — dead scripts, security headers, image weight, zoom, social cards, and your reviews on the page.

$2,450
then $150/month
About 3 weeks
  • Quote request form on every product page, and one on the contact page
  • Coverage & tonnage calculator that emails you the customer's project
  • Dead scripts removed, jQuery updated, full security header set applied
  • Images compressed, pinch-zoom restored, alt text completed
  • Social cards so shares stop posting as blank links
  • Your Google reviews displayed on the site, with review schema
  • Conversion tracking, so from day one you can see exactly what it produces
Step two · only if step one pays

The Rebuild

Now that it's earning, replace the 2012 site properly: mobile-first, fast, a filterable stone catalog, a project gallery, delivery lookup by ZIP, and a CMS so your own staff change a price in a minute instead of calling Pennsylvania.

$6,500
then $250/month
About 6 weeks · your Step-one fee comes off
  • Complete mobile-first rebuild, all 45 pages migrated with redirects
  • Filterable catalog — colour, size, application, sold-by, stock status
  • Quote basket: customers build a materials list and send it in one go
  • Project gallery, including the commercial and theme-park work
  • Delivery zone lookup by ZIP, with lead times
  • CMS plus staff training · WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility
  • Your $2,450 from Step one is credited — net $4,050
Step three · later, if ever

Contractor Portal

The trade side: logins for your wholesale accounts with their pricing, saved materials lists, and order history. Only worth doing once the first two are producing — and plenty of yards never need it.

no change to monthly
Whenever you want it

What the monthly covers

Hosting, SSL, CDN and firewall, security patching, daily off-site backups, uptime monitoring, content changes on request, and a one-page monthly report showing how many quote requests came in and what they were worth. No per-ticket billing. Cancel on 30 days' notice — there's no long contract.

Half up front, half on completion, on each step separately · Monthly care plan billed monthly, cancel on 30 days' notice, no minimum term · Prices held for 60 days
Assumes you provide product photography and specs, or we shoot them on a yard visit; that you keep your current domain and Cloudflare account; and that anything with its own vendor fee — Marchex call tracking, Constant Contact — stays billed directly to you at cost.

What you'd actually get

The screens, and the one that earns

Screen 3 is live — go use it. That calculator and the quote form are Step one, and they're the parts that make money; the homepage and catalog come in Step two. Everything except the calculator is a mockup, and the look gets your approval before anyone builds it.

01 · Homepage — Step two

Your phone number and a quote button never leave the screen. The stone leads; the copy follows. Forty years, fifteen acres, and 106 reviews are stated in the first fold instead of buried on an About page.

03 · The calculator — Step one, and it's live

This one really runs — change the area, depth, or stone and the numbers move. Try lava rock: it costs more than double per ton but covers nearly three times the ground, so the job lands at about the same price. That's the kind of answer your counter staff give on the phone forty times a day. Here it's free, it works at 9pm, and it captures the customer's details while it does it.

Every one of these is a lead your current site would have lost without a trace.

Products, prices, and stock status shown are sample data for illustration — your real catalog loads from the CMS, and your team edits it. Stone textures stand in for your photography, which we shoot on the Discovery visit. Coverage figures use standard bulk densities (lava rock at 0.55 tons per cubic yard, gravels at 1.35–1.45) and get replaced with your actual yard figures before launch.

No lock-in

What stays yours

Right now your site can only be edited by a firm in Pennsylvania. We're not interested in replacing one dependency with another.

Every account is in your name

Domain, hosting, Google, Cloudflare, your content and photography, and your customer data all belong to Pebble Junction. Always.

You get the keys

From Step two on, your staff edit the site themselves. You never need to call anyone to change a price or post a closure notice.

If we part ways, you keep it

The site, the code, and every account. We hand over credentials and documentation and help the next provider take over.

Forty years of reputation, landing on a page that can't take a message.

Whatever you decide about us — the dead scripts and the missing security headers are a couple of hours of work for any competent developer. Take these findings to whoever handles your site now. They're worth fixing either way.

STEP 01

STEP 02

We're in Central Florida. We can come to the yard.

STEP 03

$2,450, about three weeks. Then you judge it on what it produces.
